You are invited to join a small, carefully held group for a ten-day retreat, with Jardín del Agua as the ceremonial centre, located in Colombia rooted in traditional plant medicine work. This retreat is limited to nine participants, allowing for an intimate container in which depth of relationship, both with the medicines and with one another, can be properly tended.
The retreat is structured as a ten-day container, with eight full days at the retreat centre. The retreat is held at Jardín del Agua, a beautiful ceremonial centre nestled in nature in Sasaima, Colombia. The journey begins in Bogotá, where the group gathers before travelling onward together.
This shared arrival is an intentional part of the design. It gives everyone a chance to rest after international travel, to meet one another, and to begin the full transition out of ordinary life and into ceremonial time as we reach the retreat centre.
The Shape of the Retreat
Once at retreat centre, the days unfold according to a rhythm that has been carefully designed to support both ceremonial depth and integration. The container includes five ceremonies in total: an opening plant cleansing ceremony to mark the formal beginning of the retreat, three yagé (known as ayahuasca outside of Colombia) ceremonies, and a closing Yopo ceremony.
The plant cleansing is a ceremony in its own right (often known in North American contexts as a smudging ceremony) and serves as the ceremonial opening of the retreat container. The Yopo ceremony, the final ceremony, naturally opens the door to the integration process, making it a fitting close to the ceremonial arc of the retreat.
Between ceremonies, the days are held with as much care as the ceremonies themselves. Mornings begin with yoga, followed by integration circles where the group comes together to share and make sense of what is arising. Triad-based processing offers a smaller, more intimate space for participants to work through material with the support of two others.
Individual support is available where needed, and there is time built in for rest, for being on the land, and for teachings that bridge traditional ceremonial knowledge with contemporary therapeutic understanding.

This retreat is facilitated by being in a close collaboration with an exceptional team of traditional medicine holders, therapists, and skilled helpers.
Every aspect of the container, ceremonial, somatic, and integrative, is covered by people who bring genuine depth and experience to their work.
Ceremonial Leadership
The three yagé ceremonies are led by Indigenous Pijao curandera Xochi Bucuru and Maestro José Bravo who carries the Sikuani lineage.
Together they bring, complementary ceremonial traditions and a combined depth of knowledge that is rare and extraordinary to sit with.
Retreat Support
Daily yoga and mindfulness sessions with Cesar, designed to support embodied integration of each day’s experience.
Massage and physical therapy provided by Lizeth Garcia, licensed physical therapist, supporting the body through the depth of the work.
Dedicated support from our team throughout every day of the retreat.

Travel Day
Arrival in Colombia
Participants arrive in Bogotá and stay overnight at the Hotel. Relationship introductions.
Friday, Nov. 27
Day 1 Arrival at Retreat Centre
Breakfast at hotel, group bus ride from Bogotá to retreat centre.
Arrival, settling in, orientation talk, welcome circle to open retreat and land connection.
Saturday, Nov.28
Day 2 Intention Setting and Relationship Setting
Triad circles. We will participate in Plant Cleansing as the ceremonial opening of the retreat.
We will have lunch and visit the Yagé trees that are a part of our retreat.
Sunday, Nov. 29
Day 3 First Ceremony — Yagé
Morning circle, intention setting process with each person, with the group as holder.
Individual support as needed in the later afternoon/evening. Ceremony throughout the night.
Monday, Nov.30
Day 4 Second Ceremony — Yagé
Afternoon integration circle and processing triad circles. Individual support as needed in the later afternoon/evening.
Ceremony Shipibo style or throughout the night.
Tuesday, Dec. 1
Day 5 Integration
Afternoon post-ceremony integration circle, processing triads, rest, and individual support.
Wednesday, Dec. 2
Day 6 Third Ceremony — Yagé
Daytime yagé ceremony. Evening activities.
Thursday, Dec. 3
Day 7 Integration
Morning integration circle, processing triads, afternoon activities, and facilitator one-to-one sessions with participants.
Friday, Dec. 4
Day 8 Fourth Ceremony — Yopo
Daytime Yopo ceremony as the fourth and closing ceremony, opening the door to the integration process.
Gratitude circle, closing ritual, and sealing of the retreat container.
Saturday, Dec. 5
Departure Day
Return to Bogotá
Depart from retreat centre in the morning.
Bus ride back to Bogotá with airport drop-off (with a possible short stop in Sasaima).
Who This Retreat Is For
This retreat is for those who have stepped into their healing paths, and are now seeking to deepen their relationship with themselves.
These medicines, within a structured, supportive container, will facilitate this journey.
Because the group is limited to nine people, and the days are full, a willingness to engage openly with the integration process, including the circles, the triad work, and the teachings, is an important part of what makes this container effective.
This is not a retreat designed around your sole isolated peak experiences. It is designed around relationships: with the medicines, with the land, with the traditions being shared, and with the others who will be sitting alongside you.
Important Considerations
As with any traditional plant medicine work, there are dietary and medication restrictions that apply before, during, and after the retreat.
Specific guidance will be provided once your participation is confirmed, and any questions about medications or health conditions should be raised early so that they can be addressed individually.
Participants are asked to arrive with a willingness to engage fully with the structure of the retreat, including the ceremonies, the integration circles, and the triad processing work. This commitment is part of what allows the container to hold depth safely for the whole group.

The cost of the retreat is $4,444 CAD / $3,333 USD/ $3111 EURO per person.
This includes all ceremonies, lodging, meals at retreat centre, morning yoga, ground transportation between Bogotá and the retreat centre, an intake interview prior to the retreat, one group preparation call before departure, one group integration call following the retreat, and one individual follow-up session per person after returning home.
Flights to and from Colombia are not included and we can help you coordinate as you need.
